Sam and Dean watched the angels fall from Heaven. They couldn't believe their eyes as they watched the horrific sight. That's when Dean's phone rang.
"Yeah, Kevin?" he asked after he checked the ID.
"You should know that there's a machine that turned on all by itself in the bunker here," Kevin told him. "The board has a map of the world, and they're these red dots everywhere on this map." At the bunker, Kevin stood at the table where the map of the world glowed and studied it.
As Dean stood up and walked over, he started he had the feeling he knew what did. "It's not demons, Kevin," he assured his young friend. "It's angels; they're falling from Heaven. I'm going to assume that Naomi was right. Metatron double crossed Cas."
"He's the messenger of God, Dean," Kevin said. "He would know all about the trials-about all of the trials. Even the ones we don't know about."
"I'm aware of that, Kevin," he replied. "We can only worry about one thing at a time." Dean looked over at where he had propped up Sam. "I have a sick Sam here. A very sick Sam."
"He didn't finish closing the Gates of Hell?" Kevin asked confused.
"No," Dean confirmed. "Naomi told me that he would be a sacrifice if he went through with it. If she was right about one thing-"
"She could be right about this," Kevin finished realizing what Dean was telling him. "I guess I'll stick around in case you need me."
"Thanks, Kevin," Dean said. "I think now more than ever we need God's help, and I don't even know where to start looking."
"We'll find him, Dean," Kevin assured him. "When he finds out about his angels falling from Heaven and Sam not finishing the demon trials, he can't ignore the problems anymore."
"No," Dean agreed. "He can't. I'll be back as soon as I can."
