I'll Save You From The Pirates

This story starts on the Water bending scroll episode with Katara tied to the tree.
"I'll save you from the pirates."
I watched as the color drained from her face as I held her wrists. I had the degenerate sea raiders tie her to the nearest tree as she struggled to get free.
"Where is the Avatar peasant?"
"I'll never tell you where he is." she stated with determined fire in her eyes.
"Try to understand, I need him to restore something I've lost. My honor. Now tell me where he is!" I yelled. My frustration reaching its peak.
I was never going to get his location from her. I could tell from the determined look on her face that I would be better off bribing a hog-monkey to lay an egg. But he couldn't be too far away. She goes everywhere with the him. She's his girl.
With that last thought I got an idea that would get me everything i needed without much effort on my part.
"Take her to the ship, she's coming with us."
After my words must have sunk in, the peasant started to thrash about violently. But to no avail.
"Prince Zuko," my uncle Iroh interjected,"what are you doing?"
"I'm capturing the Avatar Uncle." I stated absently as I made my way onto the ship. It had been a long day of fitful shopping on that disgusting pier for uncles insignificant lotus tile.
"And how does taking the maiden contribute to the capture of the Avatar?"
Uncle was so oblivious.
"Because the Avatar will come for her. We'll head back to the Fire Nation and the Avatar will willingly follow because we have her." I stated proudly. "All I have to do is make sure that he doesn't get to her until we get there. As we approach the harbors home we will go on the offensive and capture the Avatar instead of defending the girl. She is nearly a pawn, an insignificant totem that is... important to the Airbender. So I make sure she stays with us until the time comes. And when it comes, Father will welcome me home with honor."
