The huntsman and the fox
Ichigo Hitofuri… Tenka Hitofuri…
They were one and the same.
The two sides of the same coin.
"I am Ichigo Hitofuri. The sole Tachi made by Awataguchi Yoshimitsu."
The one that was Ichigo Hitofuri was a caring brother, a polite young man and a dutiful warrior.
Meanwhile, Tenka Hitofuri was arrogant and cold and never looked twice at those he deemed unsuitable to bear the name of Yoshimitsu.
"Tenka Hitofuri, leave." The soft, quiet voice of the beautiful Uchigatana of Awataguchi Kuniyoshi sounded as they both sat in a seiza, facing each other.
A soft, elegant laugh escaped his lips as he stared at the beautiful Uchigatana. "Are you sure about that?" He asked, watching the cold fire in those golden orbs grow.
"They want Ichigo Hitofuri. Not you…" Came the swift reply.
A small cunning smile appeared and he marveled at the mental strength of the graceful Uchigatana.
To be able to face a Tachi head on, the masterpiece of Awataguchi Kuniyoshi truly was admirable.
"Tenka Hitofuri and Ichigo Hitofuri are two sides of the same coin." He replied, watching amusedly as those cold golden orbs sharpened. "Wherever he goes, I accompany him." He smirked, admiring how the silver-haired Uchigatana narrowed his eyes and the way he tilted his head in thought.
"…They don't need you here." Came the reply as their eyes clashed. "Not after you hurt Akita with your words." Gloved hands tightened as the fair Uchigatana stared back challengingly.
"He is weak and has never seen the battlefield. He is better off in a glass case than on a sortie." He replied, watching the other stiffened. "Or we could come to an agreement." He offered, surveying how those beautiful golden orbs narrowed suspiciously.
"…What do you want?"
A sly smirk formed on his lips. The cunning fox had fallen into the huntsman's trap.
"A small offering in exchange of Ichigo Hitofuri." He saw how the other lit up but soon enough , a guarded look crossed that beautiful face.
"…Explain."
He was the huntsman and the other was the fox. A few more pushes and he would have this beautiful fox at his feet.
"Ichigo HItofuri will, for a lack of better words, come out when we face the others but not in private, with only you and me."
The beautiful fox stared at him warily and the little glint of hope in those golden orbs made him yearn to wreak havoc upon that slender body.
"What do you want?" A repeat of the previous question.
The fox was still as sharp as ever.
But that only fanned the fire of desire inside him.
The desire to have that quiet, beautiful fox to himself.
What would Ichigo Hitofuri feel when he know the hands that ruined his beloved cousin was his?
"As long as you belong to me, Ichigo Hitofuri will be the one playing with the Toushirou. He will be the one going on sorties and carrying out the sage's orders as long as you remain mine."
Determination, hope, hatred and shame warred in those soulful golden eyes before the fox finally surrendered himself to the huntsman.
"…Very well…" Came the soft, quiet voice.
He grinned darkly as the beautiful fox stripped himself bare under his watchful golden eyes.
Finally…
The quiet, beautiful fox of the Awataguchi had been his…
Fin…
