She did not expect him to be there not after everything that had gone down, he looked at her his golden eyes where wild and angry,
His cloths where wet and they clung to his skin in way that shouldn't be legal.
"Jace what are you doing here?" she whispered. After all that they had discovered all that they had been through, here he was standing at Luke's door step at 3:00 in the morning.
"Clary, we need to talk ..." he said his voice was on edge he sounded desperate, she slowly stepped out in to the porch and closed the door behind her, and she grabbed his hand and started walking toward the street to an unknown destination.
"What do you want Jace ... Simon is not going to be too happy with you hanging around me like this I'm sorry but-"
"Clary I can't do this ... who cares what everyone else thinks I cant be alone any more come with me Clary"
he held her hand tighter his face looked so vulnerable so hurt she couldn't help but caress his face not missing the way he leaned into her touch
"Jace I can't do this you know that we have talked about this its wrong Jace ..." she walked around him her hands to her head her eye brows where bunched up in frustration "You are my brother!" he flinched at that his face returning to his usual sarcastic mask.
"Clary ... shame on you what kind of sister wants to kiss her brother touch him in ways you have never touched a man ... I'm not stupid Clary stop acting like I am .... I know you want me I felt what it's like to kiss you I know you feel more for me than just a brother. "He spat to her face growing closer to her with every word.
The more he spoke the more he stripped her of her denial she remembered his touch, his kiss, his face ... she missed him more than he could ever know.
"Jace ... " she was lost for words he was just an inch way she could feel his warmth against her all she wanted to do was wrap her arms around him and tell him to take her away to a place where she could be all his.
"Come with me Clary." He said his lips just a breath away.
"I ..."
"Come and be mine to a place where we wouldn't be judged, All I ever wanted was to be all yours, your lover, Best friend I want to be your man, your only man."
He said the words slowly and precise leaning in closer and closer until his lips touched hers.
She was lost.
And he found her,
she felt empty and he filled her.
People be damned God be damned World be damned!
"I love you Jace." she whispered her eyes widened at the meaning of her own words, "I do not want to be with anyone but you and you're the only one for me."
It occurred to her that day, just how much he meant to her she loved him mind body and soul. Her brother her best friend and lover he was her everything. He was her Jace. No one would change that ever, God be damned.
