Bella's POV
"Edward! You can't go… " I said sobbing, clutching tightly to his shirt. "You—promised—", I said between sobs," You—promised you – would never—leave me."
"That I did Bella, but it's my family… I have to go with them. The time has come to move on, make a clean break." "Clean break" . That word rolled around and around in my head.
That's when I broke into hysterics. " Edward!!!"- I collapsed onto the floor in dry sobs.
He looked down at me, with his beautiful face of an angel with despair stricken across his face. I knew it pained him to see me in this state." Bella, please don't do this to me." He said. "It just makes it harder for me to leave you." "THEN DON'T!!!" I screamed in his face.
Just thenCarslise slammed the front door behind him. " O dear." He shrieked. " Bella, are you alright?".
