Riving the DA by P.L.S.
It wasn't often that people looked at him and saw The Boy Who Lived' anymore. To most he was the quirky Care of Magical Creatures instructor who used a one of a kind muggle/magical computer to do grades and all other professorial duties. The muggleborns who were computer geeks often haunted his section of the castle to get their e-mail and check up on their message boards and web sites. The purebloods scorned him, the rest just shrugged when they heard Professor Evans and some Ravenclaw go off on the latest virus or the newest game. If anything they tried to avoid him, if only because he was always bringing in creatures that could poison, stab, claw, bite, or strangle a kid who wasn't on guard all the time. Only the geeks risked it because he had the only computer in the school and they knew he only talked those who took his classes to help tend to the monsters.
It wasn't until Felicity Bones was digging through old student yearbooks and other publications that she found notes from a class called DA which seemed to be an advanced defense/dueling class. They were dated February 4th, 1996. At the end was a little note from what she supposed was the teacher- Great work, read Charming Your Blues Away. It didn't take long for the chair of the yearbook committee to find the old staff records but until Professor Evans who had his student records under the name of Potter, Harold James, there wasn't a mention of an H. Potter. It took her and her friends the whole week to figure it all out. It took less than two hours for the rest of the school to hear about it, and soon a petition was going round for the reinstatement of a dueling club with Professor Evans as the staff advisor.
Of course Harry was the last to know, but he taught the class none the less.
Although it did take Headmaster Snape promising to turn him into a five year old muggle girl if he refused to Stop those brain dead little cretans from randomly hexing each other and just give them the bloody lessons! before he agreed.
