Author's Notes: Okay, I was doing some English homework and I did this. But as I looked through it, I noticed it would be great for Shadow. I still haven't got my mark yet so hopefully it will go down well. Hope you enjoy.

Sometimes you just feel lost in your mind,

Or sometimes the agony clouds thought.

Sometimes the truth hurts more than the lie,

Or sometimes it protects you from pain.

Sometimes things never seem to matter,

Or sometimes everything is just too much.

Sometimes you wish you could just be yourself,

Or sometimes long for a mask to hide.

Sometimes you wish for a miracle,

Or sometimes you wish for disaster.

Sometimes freedom is your companion,

Or sometimes becomes your darkest curse.

Sometimes you wish for friendship or trust,

Or sometimes you were alone.

Sometimes pain can be welcomed by you,

Or sometimes it is despised by all.

Sometimes you face the darkest hour,

Or sometimes you live a cushioned life.

Sometimes you think that it is the end,

Or sometimes you have a life ahead.

Sometimes you think you've won at life,

Or sometimes that there's nothing to lose.
