A string of cuss words could be heard from the room of a certain girl. To say she was angry would be an understatement. Angry, frustrated and angry. Those were the feelings of Mikan Yukihara at the present. The heir to one of the world's top corporations, Yukihara Corps.
To say the least, she regretted her actions this time.
*FLASHBACK*
She had just arrived in her Bugatti Veyron when she heard her mother's voice, no, scratch that, her scream from her house and anyone could say that she was not pleased at all.
"MIKAN YUKIHARA!COME HERE AT ONCE!"
Mikan knew she was in trouble. She looked to her left and right and saw the scared and pitied looks of her maids. She gave a small assuring smile and walked into the living room. She took a deep breath before she walked into the room.
"Mom?"called out Mikan in an innocent and sweet voice. She saw the angry look on her mom's face and decided to drop the act.
"Mikan, what did you do this time?" asked Yuka in a dangerously low voice. "And tell me honestly", added her mother.
Aside from the angry look on her face, any stranger would mistake the two for twins. Only that Yuka was much elder than Mikan. They both had big, brown eyes which was ever sparkling, and long brown hair that reached their bottoms. Though Mikan's was a little curlier at the ends.
"Mom, but-"
"No buts, young lady. You tell me every little thing from the beginning and don't leave out any details." Ordered the elder brunette.
Mikan looked at her father for help but her father only gave her an awkward smile.
Mikan flinched but began her story anyway.
Few minutes later
"They were bullying her, so my friends and I decided to help her. We told them to stop but they didn't listen and came charging towards my friends. One of them hit Anna wothout even hearing us out. I couldn't bear it and they wouldn't listen, so I Just taught them a lesson. That's all." She finished her story and looked at her mom expecting something.
"But because of you, all 15 of them are in the hospital. And to make it worse, theyre all bedridden for three months at the least." Yuka said with a stern look.
"But I didn't know that they would end up at the hospital", protested Mikan. That was the final straw for Yuka.
"That's it, Mikan. It's your fault that they almost died and yet, you have no remorse. I never raised you to be like this." Yuka shaked her head in disappointment.
"Whether you like it or not, you are going to attend Gakuen Alice. You have no choice in this since you've crossed the limits this time around. I will see to it that you are disciplined." Yuka turned to her daughter to see if there was any sign of regrets and she was disappointed to find none. She loved her daughter very much and all she wanted was to prepare her for the future that she was destined to face.
"Mom, how can-"
"Mikan, this is final. You will go to Gakuen Alice," she paused and looked at her, "Not as Mikan Yukihara, but as Mikan Sakura, a scholar student. Once you enroll, you will have to make friends with the future heirs of top companies. However, if your identity gets revealed, you'll face severe consequences, much worse than this."
Mikan was appalled. She couldn't believe her ears. Although she was a genius, she hated the very idea of school, let alone Gakuen Alice.'I must convince Mom not to send me there.'
"Mom, please. Let's talk about this. You know I hate crowded places, especially schools."
"Mikan sweety, I know I'm doing this for your own good. Come here and give me a hug." Mikan hugged her mom reluctantly. Even though she was strict at times, she still loved her mom and respected her for the woman she was. "I know you'll pass this test well and make me proud. We love you and we only want the best for you."
"Alright Mom, if you say so. I'll do my best, just for you guys." She turned to leave when her Mom stopped her.
"Oh and Mikan dear, you'll be living in the dorms starting tomorrow." Yuka loved teasing her daughter and to say she was pleased when she saw her daughter's reaction would be a huge understatement. "So, you might wanna pack your bags. And, remember, you're just a commoner."
"Mom! You bully."
With this, Mikan stormed off.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
She had to inform her friends. It was a serious matter, for her at the least. But then, she had an idea, she could surprise them It would be fun to see their surprised faces.
She logged into her messenger from her phone and checked her messages. There were 3 messages from their group chat,1 from Hotaru. She clicked on Hotaru's message which read, "I know you're attending Gakuen Alice tomorrow. Can't wait to see the surprised look on their faces." And this is why she was her best friend. They were very similar but very different at the same time. 'But boy! You gotta hand it to her and her information sources.' She replied ot her and decided to pack her clothes and other necessary stuff.
After she was done packing, she decided to to take a hot bath. She sat in the bath and started thinking about her new life that was going to begin tomorrow. She was going to impress her parents like she always had. She was a genius and she had actually finished her schooling at a very young age. But she loved challenges and now that she thought about it, it did seem like a good idea. She could analyse which companies would profit her in the future. She got out of the bath tub and started getting ready for bed.
As Mikan lay in her king-sized bed thinking about her new school and her only brother, Youchi, who was also in Gakuen Alice. She dozed off smiling.
Little did our princess know that life was gonna make a drastic change for her.

A/N: I kind of edited the story and I don't know if it's any better. Hopefully, I'll get back to writing again.
