Gray held a bunch of Juvia's sea-blue hair in his left hand, and attempted to cross it over top the first bunch in his right hand. He managed it. So far so good. Gray thought cautiously. Now for the hard part. When Gray tried to cross the second bunch of hair in his right hand over the first bunch, it ended up as a tangled mess and he accidentally let go of the bunch that was in his left hand. He growled in frustration.

"Gray, Juvia is fine if you cannot braid her hair." Juvia said gently.

"No, I said I would do this, and I'm going to do this." Gray growled. He wasn't mad at her, Juvia knew. He was just frustrated that it was taking him so long to pick braiding. And she had asked him to braid her hair. This morning. For Lucy's party.

She'd ended up braiding it herself so that they weren't late, but Gray evidently hadn't gotten over it.

"Juvia appreciates it." Juvia hummed as Gray went back to dividing her hair into three sections.

"Don't distract me, I'm trying to concentrate." Gray said, embarrassment clear in his voice.

So Juvia sat, content, with Gray braiding her hair late into the night.

This is just a tad bit late. It technically is no longer Gruvia day. And this little drabble is barely enough to wet you're appetite I'm sure but I hope you enjoyed it anyway.
