Hello! This is my first fan fiction and I have based it on the Hunger Games with popular 'Minecraft' YouTubers! Starring: Captainsparklez, Ashleymarieegaming, TheDiamondMinecart, Antvenom, BajanCanadian, Deadlox, Skydoesminecraft and KermitplaysMC! And also bringing in 2 made up characters: Glow and Riley! During the story you will find out why these 2 new characters are present in the fan fiction! Please give me feedback and rate! Enjoy!
Chapter 1: Just a normal day?
Ashley's POV:
I woke up surprisingly earlier than I normally do. Not really. I always wake up to Mitch (BajanCanadian) doing his videos with Sky. I poked a hair clip through the rusty lock on the door knob in my bedroom. They lock me in here every night, and spend their time getting drunk late at night. I could scream and bang on my door for hours, but they would never let me go. Your probably thinking, 'Well if you could pick the lock now, then why couldn't you at night?'. I just then found the hairclip from under my crooked bed while I was reaching for my slippers. Other times I would have to wait till lunch time when they have finished recording. They barely ever let me record. The only days that they let me record is Tuesday and Friday, when they're out at the pub. I crept past the room where they were recording then ran over to Glow's house. It looked like Riley was already there. I knocked on the door then Glow opened, her eyes filling with worrying tears.
I gave my little friend a hug. She was only 12 and is very sensitive. But today I don't blame her. 2 citizens from villages around England and America, were going to be picked to take part in this years Hunger Games. The thought of it made me wipe my eyes. We sat in front of her little television and I gave Riley a hug as well. He was 13.
TV Presenter: Hello citizens! Welcome to the 78th year of the Hunger Games and as you know we have quarter quells which is all the remaining victors and the original. But this year we have a new category: Most popular YouTubers and the original! So team Yellow is: Antvenom, BajanCanadian, Deadlox, Skydoesminecraft and KermitplaysMC! Then finally in Team Red: Captainsparklez, TheDiamondMinecart, Ashleymarieegaming, Glow Sphinx and Allister Sanderson! Good luck! And if anyone out there wishes to volunteer as tribute, please call!
Riley instantly reached for the phone, but I grabbed his wrist tight. "Riley you are NOT volunteering as tribute" I told him seriously. "I can't stand to see Glow or you go!" He wept. He pushed my hand off and pushed me against the wall. "RILEY GET OUT!" I screamed and slapped him across the face, tears streaming down mine as the results were devastating. He cried and rushed out the door. I shouted out the window "And don't come back!". Glow headed towards the kitchen. I sat at the table, my head in my hands. I looked up. She had gripped a knife. "Now now Glow, if you put the knife anyone near your flesh, its going to hurt. I know how it feels to just stab yourself sometimes but this isn't a sensible option is it?" I explained to her slowly. She dropped it and fell to her knees, sobbing softly.
