THIS IS MY FIRST FANFIC!
Starefire sat in her room deciding weather she should ask out Robin or not. Everyone in the house told her that Robin was too scared to ask her out because he thought their friendship would be in jeopardy, and she might say 'no' to him.
She sat up from her bed and walked over to her vanity and sat down on the stool and looked at herself in the mirror. She frowned when she looked at her red locks, noticing they were all tangled. She reached over to one of the droares and opened one of the cabinets pulling out a comb to straighten her hair out.
'I want to have a relationship with him, but what if it isn't what everyone says it would be?' Starefire questioned herself
'It would be a little different, but it would be glorious to go out with Robin' Starfire thought, she set down her comb and checked herself in the mirror.
'I don't believe it is wise to wait around for him. I'm going to do it myself.' She thought, sounding tough
She proceeded out of her door, and to Robins. With every step she took, her heart began pounding in her chest harder and harder. Finally, she was at the door that read, "ROBIN" in bold letters. She raised her fist to knock, but hesitated and took in a deep breath before fallowing threw with her plan.
"Come in" came the muffled reply
Starefire waited for the door to open, and when Robin looked up and saw it was her, she noticed he stiffened up a bit.
"Uh..Uh Starefire what are you doing here?" Robin asked a little shakily
"Robin... I... wanted to tell you...something." Starefire said shakily herself
"good because I have been meaning to tell you something to." He replied
Starefire took in a deep breath and thought, 'its now or never'
"Robin...I...was um... wondering if you ... maybe wanted to go on... a um...date?" She asked
When she noticed Robins eyes shoot open to their full size, she wished she could take back her words.
"Starefire...I would love to. That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about." Robin said
He stood up and walked over to Starefire and embraced her in his arms and said, "God, I have been waiting for this day."
