In the Region of Fiore, There were people devoted to the protection of Pokemon and nature itself. These people were called Pokemon Rangers. These rangers were local law enforcement in Fiore. But then the Ranger Net, Official command for the rangers, decided to span all over the world. With this decision came a compromise, Rangers were allowed to have Pokeballs to catch the Pokemon they wanted to have as their Partners. While before, while a Ranger could only have one Pokemon as their partner, now a Ranger can have three active Pokemon as their Partners. Any other Pokemon can be kept for rehabilitation or breeding, otherwise the other Pokemon are simply let go.
In Fiore there is a Ranger academy where up and coming Rangers are taught by professionals. A Ranger known only by the name of Rico was giving his lesson.
"…And so it is not only the Styler's job to calm the Pokemon down, it is the Ranger's job to have a positive Aura about them so that the Pokemon knows that the ranger's intentions are Good" Rico said, having just finished his lecture about the basics of being Pokemon Rangers. The Bell Rang and the junior Ranger left. Rico sighed having the last class of the day finish was a good sign.
Even though he was an avid teacher, He always has yearned for the adventurous life of a field Ranger. But it seem there was no mission that called for him. He was a little bit chubby but He was also fit. His jet black hair spiked down like a typical anime character draping over his head band standard issue of the Ringtown ranger base and the standard issue of the Union, although some divisions had their own styles. Since Rangers were allowed three Pokemon Partners he kept two of his favorite Eevee evolutions. An Espeon Who likes to talk to humans though ESP, Much to Rico's disdain and a very Sarcastic Umbreon. Truth be told, these Pokemon Were from the same litter, Sister and Brother, respectively actually.
Rico was sitting in his office making notes on what the next class should be about when his Styler beeped. He had a new text message.
It read: "Rico, We need you in the Sinnoh Base, Union Base"
Rico smiled. He finally had a Mission. He then Ran to the Dragonite Bus with excitement he hadn't had in a long while.
A/N: This is What Happens when you watch Indiana Jones while on a Pokemon kick. Anyway there's the prologue Don't bother me about Rico I can't come up with an original name to save my life.
