I know some people may hate that she's not Bella but I think I fixed her in rather nicely, read more and you'll realize OC's aren't that bad. In this story Bella doesn't exist, It's based around 'New Moon.' I do not own anyone but Lucilia, original story by Stephenie Meyer. Enjoy! -
This new place was cold, it was full of- well, The Cullen family. Upstairs in my room, I'd been reading well past a reasonable hour, the silk sheets tented over me as to capture any escaping light from my iPhone. Everyone still knew I was on it, they could hear each tap of my finger on the screen- each click of the key. This cellphone was a compromise- It was bought by my loving mother Esme and father Carlisle. It was a win-win for Edward; the few hours a day I wasn't with him or sheltered in the safety of my white and golden room, decorated by Esme and Alice to gild my cage, I was now instantly accessible. But every night I went somewhere new, pretended to be someone else- someone normal- in the reservation. When I went to the reservation- I had a priceless freedom. I was pulled from my thoughts when I caught jacob's warmth, the distance did nothing. My gaze wandered to the window an instant before he appeared from the trees, when I realized where we were it caused me to suck in my breath and hold it as I ran to the window. His eyes, warm and excited, clearly to eager to wait for me to come to him. I leaned further out the window the glass suprisingly warm from the summers heat. So many things I should have felt, scared or worried about, yet I just watched, fascinated and compelled to see this to the end. Surely Edward was waiting outside my door for my stomach to groan in agony- to bring me something, and see me. Afraid to leave my perch, I was usure of what to do next. I held one finger up as a signal to make him wait and he oblidged- plopping down into a squat. I turned and ran, as quietly as I could, through my room and down the stairs and finally out the back door. Everyone seemed to be out hunting, Edward chasing after in thoughts of my sleep, no wonder this night seemed so much easier than usual. The dew covered grass beneath my feet reminded me of my state of exposure. I shived, not with cold but with nerves.
Jacob rushed over to me and his face sank into sadness.
"You poor thing, you must be so scared..."he whispered now, slowly yet with a careful charm. "I'm sorry, I just had to see you..."
How could he be worried about my comfort right now? "I'm fine,"
"Come with me," his words came too quickly, too vehemently. "Come to my house." he asked- no, implored. "I just want to spend time with you- I have no right to ask that of you, but... I'm afraid to be alone right now. Will you stay...until..."
"Of course, Jake. What's wrong?"
"I can't...tell you-..."his whisper weakened in pain with each word.
"You can tell me anything,"I insisted, touching my hand to his comfortingly but he jerked away as if he'd just touched ice. I couldn't tell what my expression was but it contorted with sadness at his actions, and I saw him grow weary. We began walking quietly through the woods, silence had fallen still but he held my hand affectionately. What was wrong...
( Welp this was a good start- I hope. Maybe through the writing I've convinced you that my story won't be all bad. Please stay tune for the other chapters, and reviews are good? 3
And remember, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all! ^-^ Chapter two upload tomorrow! )
