Prologue
By the light of a full summer's moon, four cloaked figures stood on a hill that over-looked a small neighborhood in a very large village. Every light was out and every villager was fast asleep. But not far away from where the group stood, in a small house with green shutters, a little light was still illuminating in the darkness of the night.
In the room, a little girl, about the age of 10 with pink hair and green eyes sat reading a book. Normally, you would think a girl her age would be reading a magazine, or sleeping for that matter. But this little female was anything but normal, and the cloaked figures knew exactly why.
"That's her? A little girl. A little girl of such young stature and minute thinking is going to be the one to help us?" one figure, clad in a dark blue, asked. The voice sounded male, young and full of spirit.
"Yes, she is. Although, not at the moment. She is not yet ready for the task that beholds her future. But in due time," the figure in white answered. His voice was rough, but calming, wise and sincere.
"Then let's go. We have lots of work to do if she's going to join us," a female dressed in forest green sighed. And with that said, she and the blue-cloaked man disappeared in a swirl of light, leaving the man in white and a woman in light violet alone on the hill.
"I want you to watch over her, Rosaline. She is at an age where she is in need of guiding. Just, watch over her and help keep her out of trouble. And when the time comes, I trust you to tell her what lies ahead," the old man said, never taking his eyes off of the bedroom window. The figure in light violet nodded, turning to face the town below, disappearing in a swirl of light. The man was left alone on the hill, watching the little girl with curious eyes.
He had known for some time that she was the person they needed, but was still struggling with the facts. A great evil was coming, but was being held at bay for a reason unbeknownst to even himself, the highest power of his world.
This little girl, Haruno Sakura, was destined to somehow put an end to the great evil. How, he did not know, nor did he stay at his spot on the hill to ponder the thought. He had much to attend to if Sakura was to join them in the future. Before disappearing from his spot on the hill, Yasuo gave one last look at Sakura's house, knowing the little angel would be watched over until her time of calling came.
Hello people! I started this story a long time ago, and i just finished the first part of the prequel! Short, I know, and for a while, the chapters might be a bit short. But I'm going to try to make them longer. But tell me what you think of the story, if it sounds like a worthy idea or not. I know there isn't much to go by yet, but I will be updating sometime tomorrow or the next day.
