Recondite
An Aspen grove of hair
Bleed Black across a forehead
Criss-Crossed in scars
Darting Dreadfully to-and-fro.
Every Entwined mark
Forever Fracture his Face,
Giving Gruesome insight to war.
Hidden by a Hooded cloak,
Icy green stare always felt, never seen.
Jaded emotions
Kept bottled in a Keg of
Lies Lardered in the dark.
Movements Mouse-like to give
Nary a Suspicion to his
Otherworldly Observant
Prey of his Presence.
Quietly, he follows over eons and
Rides the wind and Ridges of mountains,
Striving and Straining to be near her.
Times are hard; he's not always in step.
Umbreons of mistakes – could she love a
Villain like him? A Vermin?
Would she Welcome him With open arms?
Xhanort damned him to the shadows, now
Yo-Yoing in the light and Yearning a
Zephyrus beauty.
A/N: My sucky attempt at poetry. It's a piece of work from my Creative Writing class during my college semester before the holidays.
The poem is supposed to be kind of like the thoughts of my Nancy Drew OC character, Vincent (no, he's not really a villian, if anyone is thinking that). I might do a fanfiction for him down the road at some point, but right now he's just chilling out inside my head. ^_^ Well, no, that's not true, he's doing more than that, but oh, well.
And, in case anyone asks, yes, the words "Umbreon" and "Xhanort" are from Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts, respectively (even though I've pretty sure I've spelt Xhanort wrong...). :/
Please, don't laugh at this guys. -_-
Oh, and don't worry for those who have been keeping up with my Harry Potter fanfic Twitch. I'm still working on it; the chapter I'm currently writing is turning out longer than I thougt it would be and it's taking a while to put down. Don't fret. I should be downloading it within a few days, plus another ch. I held out on posting to write this one. Consider the bonus one a treat. :D
