Today was a very special day.
Today was the day, once a week, when Vriska and John had a friendly sleepover.
They sat around, hung out, watched Nicholas Cage, and played games, mostly.
And of course, John wanted to play Dominion with her.
Dominion is a card game. It's mostly for avid gamers, but even the casual gamer can enjoy a game from time to time.
Of course, as soon as he got it out, there were troubles.
"8ut come oooooooonnnnnnnn, Joooooooohn!" Vriska pouted. John just stared at her.
"vriska, the point of this game is to gain all the victory points. you can't just grab them, that's cheating!" he replied.
Vriska pouted more in response. Dominion was not a game she enjoyed.
"fiiiiiiiinnnnnnnneeeeeeee," she sighed, and picked up a Copper card.
"better!" John said. Vriska just moaned in response. She was bored already.
"Can't we do something a little more fuuuuuuuunnnnnnnn? ;;;D" she grinned.
"but this is fun!"
"No offense, 8ut it really isn't. DXXXX"
"8ut- er, but it's a cool game!"
"Even Sgru8 is 8etter than this….."
John pouted at this. Fine, if she didn't like his game, what were they going to do? This was their only chance to hang out this week, and he liked his games better with friends than with strangers.
"well, what do you suggest we do?" he asked.
"I know! Nicholas Cage solves everything! ::::D," she replied. John chuckled, and opened his favorite drawer: The drawer that contained his Nic Cage shrine. He pulled out his copy of Con Air, and loaded it into the DVD player.
She simply stared at the screen in awe throughout the whole movie, and eventually started leaning on John. No matter how many times she saw it, it never ceased to amaze her.
When the movie was over, they just sat there, in silence, grinning at the TV.
After a while, Vriska lost interest in looking at the off television screen and just stared at John. He didn't notice, because he was still staring at the TV, so she just decided to keep staring. She felt flushed for John. He didn't know it, but she did. She wanted to kiss him. But she could never muster the courage. She really wanted to, though. And she decided. She was a brave girl. She grabbed his head, made him face her, and their lips met. John was visibly stunned. She, however, was lost in the kiss. They were both blushing extremely hard, and it was quite visible. She eventually broke the kiss, and waited for a response.
"V-vriska…" he managed to spout out. "Erm, so, what was that, um about?"
"I….. just felt like it. Didn't you like it? ::::(," she asked.
"Um…" he replied. "I, er…"
Vriska just looked at him.
"Er… I guess… I… did…" he managed to spout out. She grinned, and kissed him again.
And there, our story ends.
Oh my god. I suck so hard at writing shipping. That was so incredibly cheesy…
