A/N: I don't own Degrassi. I'm still working on "Don't Dream It's Over" but finding inspiration is hard. I thought of this one shot while listening to Played by Ashley Roberts from The Pussycat Dolls. It was a song I've always wanted to write a quick one shot about but I never knew how. Hopefully I did it some justice. This is completely in Clare's POV.

He came up to me and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek. I was taken by surprise for a second before my eyes fluttered close at his touch.

Eli Goldsworthy knows exactly how to work his strong points – his kisses and his touches.

His touch made my skin shiver into goose bumps. I instantly caught my breath when his fingers intertwined with my hair. He played with it like a guitarist strums his guitar to a familiar tune.

My homework was the last thing on my mind as his lips came in contact with my ear. He placed another soft kiss on my piercing. His breathing kept to the beat of a drummer counting off the start of a song.

"Did you need help…" he whispered.

Yes I need help! I need help not getting distracted by your sexy… well, everything. The way you kiss me, the way you look at me, the way you touch me –

"…with your assignment?"

Oh.

His lips were now on my neck. I try to hold back a whimper when he gets to a certain spot. He stays there, determined like a pianist practicing his notes.

I let out an awkward cought, "I – I'm fine. Maybe I just need to take a break."

I can feel his smirk against my skin. He turns my chair around so I'm now facing him. His eyes pierce through mine and I need to look down at my lap.

"I love making you blush," his voice is still at a husky whisper.

He falls into a natural rhythm – kissing my forehead, my eyelids, my cheeks, my nose, and lastly, my lips. His lips linger over mine. Slowly, he presses them together like a violinist applying pressure to the strings.

The homework is long forgotten as we lay on my bed, just kissing. He continues to touch me with expertise – a maestro leading his orchestra. I try to match his movements but they come off uncoordinated like that one id in dance class who is never in sync. He doesn't seem to mind though, as he rewards me with deeper kisses.

I'm sure the time will come when I will be just as good as him. In the meantime however, I'm perfectly content with learning from him. He can teach me something new everyday.

As the room temperature gets hotter, his touches slow down. They start to become more cautious and questioning. I feel him glide down the sides before resting on my hips. I almost ask him to do more but I'm too shy to speak up.

He's not bothered by the pace of our intimacy. In fact, he probably has more control than I do. That's just one of the many reasons that make him stand out from other guys.

He pulls away from my lips and I instantly feel empty.

"We should get back to our homework," he smiles at me.

I smile back, agreeing with his statement.

We stare at each other for a few seconds before he leans back down to give me a chaste kiss. I run my hands through his hard, enjoying the feel of it against my fingertips.

He lets out a small laugh, "Ok, We really should get back to our homework before we get too carried away."

I can't help but smile.

I love Eli Goldsworthy and maybe someday we can get carried away, lost in our own sweet melody.

A/N: I didn't expect it to be so short but I didn't want to add anything to it. I miss EClare and I miss old Clare. I don't know what's in store for them (yeah, I've seen the quick promo and some random pictures but I don't want to speculate) but I hope things turn out well for them. So what do you think? Review and please let me know? Thanks.
