The sow made her nightly round in the air above Tartarus. She had never been down here before, she had never been defeated before. She hadn't reformed upstairs yet, but it was a matter of time.
She saw a boar running over a hill, and starved of company, flew over and landed heavily beside him.
The first thing she noticed was how truly huge he was, bigger than her. They rubbed noses to greet each other and started screeching. They went all over Tartarus together, her flying and him running, playing together and even when Gaia offered them a chance at freedom they said, or screeched, no, for to go above was the certainty that they would lose each other, and they couldn't want that. They didn't want that. So they stayed in Tartarus playing together forever.
