A/N - My first ever, fully finished drabble! This was originally going to be a one shot, but as I have lots of other ideas flying around I decided to make it a little series that I will update now and then.
Disclaimer - The characters aren't mine, sniff sniff.
Simply Beautiful.
When Glinda is asked about her first impressions of the Emerald City, her answer is always the same. It is short, simple, and truthful, but not for the reasons one would expect.
For it is not the tall, brightly coloured buildings, whose architecture she so admires that Glinda first thinks of. Nor is it the beautiful palaces, or plentiful boutiques she has quickly grown to love.
No, it is something different, and much more exquisite than any of those things.
She remembers soft, emerald skin, warm and electric against her own.
Lips pressing gently against hers; slowly at first, and then with a passion she might never feel again.
Long, slender fingers she had desperately longed for, for so long (too long) finally exploring every part of her body.
She remembers love, attraction, and happiness that was fleeting, but unforgettable, all the same.
When Glinda is asked about her first impressions of the Emerald City, she simply replies, 'I thought it was beautiful.'
Don't forget to review :-P
