Author's Notes: I've decided to make this a part of my random fandom blurbs (and that rhyme was originally unintentional). Essentially, this puts it in with What's In a Name? and whatever others I decide to do. They'll mostly be just me either thinking about various fandom things, or me questioning what the heck people do on this site, so feel free to laugh. Or shake your head and sigh in exasperation. Take your pick.

So you have your canon pairings: Jaya, Pixane, whatever. (Conya, maybe, but that one doesn't really last long.) They're typically the ones that people really love, mainly because it's a lot easier to ship them, due to evidence in the show and comics.
Then you have the other ships, the ones that people ship anyways, because of subtext, personal preference, or just because neither person has a canon romantic interest. These are pairings like GreenFlame (Lloyd x Kai), Bruiseshipping (Cole x Jay), Lavashipping (Kai x Cole), Glaciershipping (Zane x Cole, though BlackIce sounds cooler [pun originally unintentional], especially for a team), and Garmako (Garmadon x Misako).
After these come the less popular ships. Wusako (Misako x Wu) is a good example. Not everyone is cool with these pairings, but there are a few die-hard fans.
Everyone has their OTP out of these selections. But no one has ever addressed the real OTP. And that is... (cue drumroll)

The real OTP in this fandom is... Cole x Cake! They are the one true pairing. Not Jaya. Not Pixane. Cakeshipping is the winner, the top dog. Teashipping (Wu x Tea) is a close second, but unfortunately, there can be only one.
