Chapter 1: Another Day
As Judy walked outside her apartment that she shared with her friends, the morning city atmosphere greeted her. The continuous buzz of car engines, the faint honk somewhere in the distance, the loud incoherent mix of mammal's voices, and the heat.
Just another day in Sunny Califurnia, as the weather reports would say.
Another day of mundane and often grueling work at the coffee shop she worked at, rushing to auditions where it seemed like they didn't even notice her, and hours upon hours stuck in traffic.
As she walked to her car, a nondescript Coyota Preyus, she dispelled her negativity. Climbing into the driver's seat and staring the car, she repeated her mantra she said every morning to keep her going. To keep her reaching for the heights. For her dream to be a Howlywood actress.
"It's another day of sun."
And that's it for my first chapter! For those who couldn't tell, this is a crossover with the movie La La Land. Anyway, that's all for now!
