You always regret what you don't say. Right. Big understatement. I practically killed myself because i didn't say it. I probably broke his heart. No not probably, i saw the heartbroken look on his face. But i couldn't say yes, i loved him too much to ruin his life.

But fuck!, he had proposed to me and all i had done was choke out "no" and run from the resturant, tears streaming down my face.

"Edward" i sobbed into my phone. "Can you pick me up?"

"Alice?" my brothers concerned voice spoke into the reciever. "Of course where are you?"

i quickly spoke of the road i was on and then sat to wait. The tears not letting up once, not that i expected them too. i had just broken my heart and his, and it was completely my fault.

Edwards familar volvo pulled up on the curb. I was surprised i could still make it out because of my swollen and most likely red eyes.

Edward studied me as i stepped or more tripped into his passenger seat. His expression turning quickly from one of concern to anger.

"What happened?" he damanded. "Does Jasper have something to do with this?"

I managed to nod. and his expression turned futher into fury.

"No..No not like that, i broke his heart, edward!" I quickly explained. knowing that if i didn't that he would most likely go and beat Jasper up.

Edwards face turned to confusion. "What are you talking about?" he asked, no longer looking as angry.

"H-He proposed, And I said N-N-No" i wailed, my tears falling faster. If that was even possible. Edward quickly pulled me into a comforting hug.

"why? i thought you too were there already, weren't you saying that you wanted to be with him forever?"

"Yes, But i can't ruin his life!" i yelled hysterically, my hands instintivly reaching towards my flat stomach. Edward followed my movements and his eyes widened.

"A-A-Are Yo-You?" he asked slowly.

I nodded tearily. "I can't do this to him!, he's got a whole life ahead of him. I just Can't!" i said, slowly working up to hysterical again. Edward shh'd me and stroked my hair soothingly.

"You need to tell him, Alice, it's his child too" he said.

I pulled back to glare at him. "No!. i won't do it"

"Fine!"

I stared at him trying to see why he had given up so soon. Edward was not one to give up on an argument so easily. Then i noticed him typing into his phone.

"Who are you texting?" i asked suspiciously, a sinking feeling in my stomach.

"You are going to talk to him" is all he said back, locking the car doors and starting the car up.

"Where are we going?" i questioned. The way his car was going did not lead to my house. "You're going the wrong way!"

"You're going to Tell Jasper!" he snapped. "He deserves to know!"

"You were texting him before weren't you?"

He nodded in confirmation. His jaw tight.

"Why are you doing this to me Edward?" i asked desperately. If i could just get him to turn around, then it would be fine.

Edward turned to look at me for the first time. "It will be fine" he assured me. doing that freaky mind reading thing he did.

Fine? yeah, sure...Fine?... Really?...

I stood on Jasper's doorstep, Edward was watching from the car to make sure i went through with it.

Hesitantly i reached up my fist to knock. Then stepped back and waited for the door to open.

The door opened and i looked up to stare into mesmerising bright blue eyes.

What the hell am i going to Tell him?.
