Moments
It was just after midnight in the Reinsworth mansion, and everything was quiet and peaceful. The only few awake in the household were in the living room.
"Sshhhhh! Don't wake them!" Sharon whispered to Break and Gilbert as they crept out of the living room, headed towards their bedrooms.
They were trying to not wake Alice and Oz, who were fast asleep on the loveseat in front of the fireplace, cuddling underneath a comforter. Sharon thought they looked so cute together, she couldn't bear to wake them and end the beautiful moment.
The trio tip-toed out, thinking they hadn't woken either of the teenagers on the couch; but they were wrong. When Gil shut the door Alice had woken up to the sound of it clicking shut. Her eyes fluttered open for a second before they shut again; she wasn't ready to wake up yet. She snuggled closer into Oz and opened her eyes again to look at the blond next to her.
Suddenly her stomach growled loudly, screaming at her to eat something. Alice moved to get off the loveseat, but Oz's arms tightened around her waist unconsciously; effectively stopping her from getting up. The brunette attempted to worm her way out of his embrace; to no avail. She sighed in defeat and got comfortable, there was no use in being uncomfortable if she was stuck there.
Oz buried his head in her long hair and held her closer like a teddy bear. Alice started to fall back asleep from the warmth Oz was radiating. She sighed; this time in contentment. Her stomach growled again, but she ignored it. She wouldn't mind staying here forever, in this blissful moment with her contractor; even though she would never admit to that.
"I love you." Oz mumbled under his breath in a sleep-induced haze.
Alice smiled. "I love you too." She whispered just as she drifted off.
