Scorpius swallowed hard and knocked on the head Auror door. He was hear to talk to Ronald Weasely, whose office resided in the room along with his brother-in-law, Harry Potter.
The reason? Simple, to get Mr. Weasley's permission to marry his daughter, Rose.
The door opened and Harry Potter was standing in front of him. "Oh, hello Scorpius, what can I do for you?" Harry asked looking upon Scorpius.
"Is Mister Weasley here, sir?" he asked.
"Yes he is, come in and I'll get him for you." Harry said, showing the young Malfoy to a seat and he went to fetch Ron. 'I must be mental' he thought. Ron scared him. He had ever since 5th year when Rose told her father she was dating her fellow Gryffindor, Scorpius Malfoy. Her mother was pleased, opting to ignore that Scorpius' father was someone who caused her pain, har father on the other hand, was the opposite. Claiming that Scorpius had cursed her into falling in love with him, but after a talk with his wife, accepted Scorpius.
"Scorpius, what brings you here?" Ron asked walking into the waiting room were Scorpius sat.
"Oh...um...I was hoping we can talk...about Rose..." Scorpius said, somehow forgetting how to talk, he tried summoning all his Gryffindor strength but it seemed to waver when faced with the red haired man before him.
"Is she okay?" Ron asked his features suddenly turning to alarm.
"She's fine, Mr. Weasley, the reason I came here today, was to ask your permission for Rose's hand in marriage. She's the most beautiful women I ever laid my eyes on, and I want to be with her." Scorpius said, he hoped Ron would be more accepting of Scorpius wanting to marry Rose, his parents weren't to thrilled, calling him a bloodtraitor and saying he had to perserve the Malfoy family of being a family of purebloods, but they did eventually come to terms.
Ron chewed his cheek, he knew Scorpius would never purposefully harm his daughter, and he had proven himself more than worthy.
"Scorpius," he said, making the boy go pale, "you have my permission." he finished.
Scorpius' eyes bulged. "Really?" he asked somewhat surprised.
"Yes, now go before I change my mind and decide to hex you." Ron said, while his fingers played with his wand.
Scorpius jumped up, "Thanks Mr. Weasley!" he said.
"Please, Scorpius, call me dad, were family now." Ron said, staring at Scorpius.
"Thanks, dad." Scorpius corrected himself while running out of the office.
Ron chuckled and turned around, "Harry, I know your there." he said to the corner. Harry pulled the cloak off.
"What tipped you off?" he asked, laughing and walking over to Ron.
"Your feet were showing, I'm surprised Scorpius didn't see." Ron told him. /
"Yea, that would be a problem." Harry chuckled, "Maybe Hermione can try making an expansion charm, Merlin knows this thing needs it."
"Hey-wait, I thought Al had the cloak and was going to give it to Lily when she went back to Hogwarts." Ron said looking at Harry.
"Al knew, Scorpius told him, and Al gave me the cloak this morning saying it will come in handy today." Harry explained.
"He knew and didn't tell me!" Ron said while Harry just laughed.
