Meh. Short oneshot that I've been thinking of for awhile now. Set in Jou's POV. For a point of reference, 'koi' means 'love' i guess (when refering to someone), 'inu' means 'dog', and 'koinu' means 'puppy'.

At least I know when you're about to say 'koi' instead of 'inu'. You usually realize your mistake just as you're making it, and are able to tack the 'inu' on the end, calling me 'koinu' instead.
Am I the only one who notices that the inu is more forced out, more rushed than the koi?
I have a feeling so. Otherwise, why would you try?

...wait, that was a stupid question. You've got a reputation to uphold. KaibaCorp. Right. Mokuba as well. Really stupid of me not to think of it first off.
Or maybe, you yourself don't realize why you want to call me koi. Maybe you're struggling with it. Maybe it entered your head once and now you are trying to systematically trying to purge it from your memory.
Kind of worthless, in my opinion, since the mind never forgets things. It'll hide things away in boxes on some high, dusty shelf, but they'll still be there if you either chance upon it again or look hard enough for it.
So...I guess for now I have to wait until you get your act together and figure out what you feel. Or what you 'don't' feel'. Doesn't matter.
