My inspiration
I always found my father as my inspiration. A true martial artist, or so I thought. And dad's 'famous victory over Cell'. Dad lives for the lime light, and greedily gobbles it up. I still found him inspirational, even if he was a greedy person. He did defeat Cell, a feat unheard of. No one could do it, and that's why people found him amazing. But, I hated being the 'Champ' daughter'. People wouldn't leave me alone, and kept annoying and harassing me. I guess that's why Erasa and Sharpener are my best friends, because they never tried to use me for my fame. I never wanted the lime light, though, so I hated that my dad defeated Cell. I ,at once, wished someone else had defeated Cell; and I still do, but this time, for a different reason. I use to find my father inspiration, until I met Him.
He was different. Not by his hair or clothes, or even his grades, it was just something. I couldn't describe his one difference. I had come to the conclusion that he had a secret, something hidden from the world. I hated secrets and lies with a passion, hence my police work, so I was determined to find him out. I admit, treating him the way I did was… unfair, but my senses told me to. Erasa always nagged me about how mean I was to him, but his secrets were something I needed to know. But, the background check was going in to his personal space. Looking back, maybe the blackmailing and the whole 'following him home' was unnessasary too. Okay, I sound like a total jerk, I know, but I'm glad I did all this.
It's weird, but he became my inspiration. The nerdy, yet cute, boy became my inspiration. He was just amazing in a way my father could never be. He was smart and serious, yet strong and goofy. He lived in a world of fairy tales, yet he was so laid back and calm. His heart was pure, and he attracted the love of many. His eyes hit me the most though. Black as the night, yet, they hold laughter and light in them. He was special, something no jock, nerd, man, person, anyone, could be. I guess that's what made me fall for him.
"Hey, Videl! You in there." Gohan said, snapping his fingers in front of her face. Her eyes widened and she snapped up."Oh,sorry! I guess I zoned out for a minute." Videl said, blushing. Gohan smiled,"It's okay, it's not like you were doing anything wrong. So what were you thinking about." Videl blushed again,"Nothing, really." Gohan shrugged,"Okay, whatever. Want to come over this afternoon? Goten misses you, and mom worries." Videl grinned, she loved Gohan's family,"Sure, why not." Gohan grinned too,"Great, see ya later!" Videl smiled, she would always love to see those eyes in the future. They would always be her inspiration.
