Title: Fallen
Author: KC, Kcdove1013@aol.com
Reason/Excuse/Explanation: My muses made me do it!
Dedication/Author's note: Sixth for my Strange Bedfellows universe. This one is Ximeria's pair. The Strange Bedfellows universe is rather simple. I have a list of people who I would enjoy having clones of. From this list(s) you can pick a SLASH (female/female or male/male) pair and I'll try and write it. The catch is, the characters can't be from the same universe/fandom. Like, you could pick Zechs/Giles, but not Giles/Spike. Get it? No? Too bad!
Pair: Nightcrawler (X-comics)/?? (It's a mystery!...well, not really. Oh, just read!)
Rating: PG
Kurt was engrossed in the book he'd found in KC's library. It was poetry, but he'd never heard of the author. He flipped the pages and winced. Some of the poems were rather angry, but he could relate. It was the imagery that got him. 'Melting eyes'... yuck. Original, well written, but yuck.
He heard a cleared throat and pulled the book away from his eyes to see...an upside down guy. Why was-oh. Oops. He released the bar and flipped to his feet. "I apologize, mien freund."
"It's perfectly all right, I was merely curious as to the book you were reading."
"Ah," Kurt nodded and smiled. "It is a volume of poetry by someone I am unfamiliar with. It is...odd. Interesting, eh?" He grinned again. "My name is Kurt."
"...Lucien."
Kurt blinked and shrugged. He nodded his head. "Nice to meet you. Would you like to read...?" He trailed off but raised the book so his meaning was obvious. The man, Lucien, shook his head.
"I admit, I was actually more curios about you. You're rather...unique...looks are somewhat..."
"Alarming?" Kurt suggested, leaning against the wall and wondering if this man would be as narrow-minded as some he had faced before.
"Attractive."
Kurt blinked. "Ah." Well. That was...different. Some people were fascinated by his fur, but no one had ever said his odd looks were attractive. "Er...thanks?" He looked the man over again, closer this time and came up with impish and a dark sense of humor. Oddly attractive. "What show are you from?"
"Oh, I doubt you'd know it...it was canceled in the first season."
"Ack, I am sorry. That must not be fun, ja? Myself, I doubt my creators will ever tire of torturing us...I am lucky to find myself with KC, I think. There are many writers who are not so nice to their characters."
Lucien smiled, baring his teethe. "I know what you mean." He thought about it and his smile faded to something...not softer, but less hostile. "She does think of us as real people where others don't. Of course, if she didn't, I'm sure most of us would revolt." He grinned at that. Challenging the throne...could he help it? Everyone needed a hobby.
Kurt nodded after thinking about it for a moment. "Ja, I see what you mean." He licked his lips absently and wondered what he should say. The man was attractive, and he was in a mind to be with someone, but he didn't want to use anyone...
The being in question sighed. He hated when innocents attracted him. Usually they were too easy to corrupt and he was left more bitter then when he'd started the seduction, but sometimes they were truly pious and he just wanted. He cut the thought off. He could touch something clean and not tarnish it tonight.
"If you do not mind," He leaned closer to the blue furred man. "I would very much like," He tilted his head to catch the sliding of eyelids over yellow eyes. "to do this." And he licked the underside of Kurt's jaw to the man's ear. "Perhaps we could discuss this somewhere else?"
Kurt opened his eyes again, blinking. "Oh. Er, ja. My room is this way..."
