Chapter 1

"Crap not again."

Otoko gazed at her alarm clock which happens to be dead.

After she snapped out of her daze, quickly got up and get ready for school. "Seriously Otoko, you were sleeping like you were dead." A middle aged college looking boy called out to her before she could go out.

"What do you mean Kazu-nii; it'll be a million year before a die!" She smirked with an annoyed tone of voice. Before Kazuki could say anything more to his annoying, rebellious sister, Otoko was already rushing to her school with a piece of bread in her mouth which she usual has every time she is late for school.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

The sound of her footsteps resounded as she got closer to the school gate, but before she could make it, a silent little meowing call coming from atop blooming sakura tree. Otoko stopped and raised her head to see what it was, but before she could realize anything a mysterious silhouette leaped passed her and landed on the ground as if it was a cat.

But it wasn't…

It was….

Otoko's neighboring classmate Hikase Haruki.

She fell down in a sitting position, out opened thinking what the heck is he doing, I mean it's already late but what the hell is he doing up on that tree?

The dark brown haired girl watched Haruki as he lift put a kitten he probably rescued from tree and put it down next to its mother.

Oh, so that's why he was up there Otoko thought as she let out a sigh but seriously…he should be going to class now or he'll be in trouble, I just don't understand guys at all.

"You okay?" She looked up and saw that Haruki was trying to help her up but she declined.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She got up.

The guy who is standing before her is Hikase Haruki, he is known to be the calmest, coldest first year in the school. Although a lot of girls had asked him out he declined them all even the cute ones, so it was kinda hard to predict his real personality.

"I'm Hikase Haruki, you?" He said with his cold expression.

"I-I'm Kamiya Otoko, n-nice to meet you." She didn't know how to reply, since she doesn't talk to guys so often.

Haruki tilted his head with a questioned look on his face.

"Kamiya, are you that yunkie in sakurasaori middle school?" He questioned her.

W-wha, how does this guy know about me, was he in the same middle school as me?! Otoko thought in her mind "E-er, how did you know that?" She reluctantly asked back. "One of the guys in my class told me, he said he was in the same middle school you." He answered back.

Damn those guys, how dare you I'll get them good! She thought in her mind. "W-well.." But before she could finish her speech the bell rang.

DING. DONG.

"Jaa, I'll see you around." Haruki said waving his hand and he headed for the school.

Holy crap, this isn't good I have to stop this rumor before the whole school find out.

Hello this is puripuriko, and this this my first ever novella that I started writing when I was inspired by my favorite shoujo manga such as ao haru ride, maid-sama, oresama teacher etc. I tried to translate it but it might sound a bit weird so please do remind me. I know the first chapter is confusing but things will become more clear if you continue reading!
