Author's Note: Just a little one shot fic. It's the follow-up to Latex Gloves, but it is not necessary to read that one first. Sorry about the format.

Disclaimer: I am not making any money off of this...

You know, there's really no microscope where you can get a clear picture. I mean, I look from one angle and I see a purple blob with green flecks. If I look at it differently, it's completely distorted and now looks like a squarish thing. I hate these microscopes! Grissom says we don't have enough money in the budget to ge the high quality ones. It sort of strains your eyes to look at microscopes constantly. Maybe I could a file a lawsuit and sue the Crime Lab for a bunch of money. Enough money to buy my own space shuttle. I always wanted one those... I saw this thing on the news about how scientists are seeing if Einstein's Theory of Relativity is true. Of course it's true! The theory says that rotating planets distort the time space continuum and that the rotating orbiting planets drag time along with them in their orbits. Of course they drag time! Each planet has it's own little time, um, thing. I mean, we see a year as 365 days. If I lived on Pluto, it would be different. Theoretically, I could go to Pluto and come back and the time would be totally different. Like I could leave for five years and then come back and only one year would pass. Or a hundred years could pass. I wonder if I could get a promotion if Grissom knew that I knew all of this. That's what stinks about me possibly going into the field, less money. I told Grissom that it doesn't matter, but unfortunately I do need to make enough to live in Vegas. I thought Grissom would like it better if I told him that. Apparently, his view of me hasn't changed. I'm still the young lab rat that wants to go out into the field that annoys the crap out of Grissom. He really doesn't have a lot patience with me. At least Catherine takes me out. I really did think I saw her dance, I was just drunk. It's not my fault I don't remember. As opposed to Catherine, Sara won't even look at me anymore. I heard about her comments back when that lady disappeared at a magic show. "Maybe we could make Greg disappear." Yeah, whatever, it's probably because she likes me so much that she wants to make it seem like she doesn't. Crap, Warrick's coming, I gotta look like I'm actually doing work. Back to the dreaded microscope...
