Names

No one in this world knew his true name, but that didn't mean they had a shortage of things to call him. Here they adorned him with powerful royal titles like "Great Pharaoh", "Son of Ra", "Lord of the World" and "Lord of the Two Lands". He wasn't sure how to feel about these names. Perhaps before they had filled him with some sense of pride or duty, but right now they just sounded overblown, and even a bit ridiculous. Especially when compared to the names he was used to hearing "back home" in Domino. Here he might be "The Great Pharaoh" or "The Lord of Two Lands", but in Domino he was simply "Yugi Mutou", "The Other Yugi", "Other Me", or "Hey-you-short-kid-in-the-jacket". And, right now, as he found himself trapped in a vaguely familiar reconstruction of Ancient Egypt, he couldn't help but yearn for those names as much as he yearned for the true one he had come here to find.
