He could have been wrong.
Not that he have anything against them but seeing Chain-san waiting in the outside Zapp-san's hospital room after their mission made him shiver. It was 2:00 in the morning and the bearer of all seeing eyes could witness the surreal scene in front of him. No, he needs to be wrong. Speculation is really bad in terms of the two Libra employees. It could lead to annihilation and mass murder. If his conclusion was real, he wishes it isn't, the end of the world is nearing.
That's why Leonardo didn't bother to look at Chain-san's face. He can't draw another conclusion.
He noticed the unusual aura behind the two.
It wasn't a new thing for the teenager to observe the routine of his senior, but the last time they finished their job, the white haired man turned around in the other direction instead of the cabaret he usually took his time off. What makes it even more weird is that, he noticed that his destination was near their resident werewolf's apartment. He got confused at first and thought that he must've been wrong again.
But came last Monday, the two took their lunch outside like their routine. But while Leo took his usual path in the streets of Hellsalem, he noticed two familiar heads inside a restaurant. Curiosity got him to walk inside the fancy restaurant. When he asked the counter about his colleagues, he was answered by a yelling from their table.
It looked like they were fighting like the usual but he saw the set of twinkling eyes on Zapp and it made him really confused. After their tirade, the pair got evicted from the establishment and Leo sighed as he watched the eventful day. Somehow, he noticed that they maybe an odd pair, there's something that sparks within the two.
He minded his business and didn't observe again.
Until today that is.
Chain-san's eyes are emotionless as it was in the beginning but he could notice the twitching of her hands. It could have been his imagination but it wasn't coincidence like the last time. She was worried and it really creeps the hell out of the teenager. Strange is an understatement to whatever he feels about the pair and Leo sighed at the thought. Oh, boy. The world is really screwed.
They sat in silence for a minute until the doctor told them that it was alright to go inside. She might've forgot about their secret because Chain-san suddenly rushed inside.
As he always concludes, they are an odd pair. And the possibility that they are a couple is really scary.
He didn't know it was also observed by their colleagues.
