In a quiet little neighborhood there was a quiet little house, and in that quiet little house lived a man and his baby sister. All was silent in the quiet little house tonight until…
The little girl woke up with a scream. She sat on her bed wrapped in her blanket shivering and crying.
The little girl's brother heard the scream and his baby sister's crying. He quickly got out of his bed and ran into his sister's room.
The little girl heard saw him standing in her doorway and looked up from her blanket and looked at her brother
"L-Leonard" The girl said, her crying stopping slightly.
"Laura , what's wrong?" he asked, sitting on Laura's bed.
"I-I had a b-bad d-dream"
""Do you want to tell me what happened?"
"I-I was t-trapped i-in a d-dark room a-and these s-strange people s-started a-attacking me" Laura told her brother, still crying.
Leonard pulled Laura into a tight hug and said "I won't ever let anyone hurt you"
"P-Promise?" Laura said looking up at her brother
Kissing his little sister's forehead he replied "I promise"
The two of them sat in silence for a few minutes as Laura's crying stopped quite a bit more.
"G-Goodnight Leonard I l-love you"
"Goodnight Laura... I love you too"
Not to long after both fell asleep, the older brother holding his little sister in his arms.
