Tina was bored in class one day thinking about her crush, Jimmy Jr. She had loved him for as long as she could remember. In reality, she was constantly left hanging every time she tried to get close to him. No matter what strategy Tina used, Jimmy Jr. never acknowledged her. But Tina never gave up hope. In her mind, he was just shy and not good at expressing his emotions. She gave him the benefit of the doubt every time. However, Tina knew in the back of her mind that she was too nice to people and it always (if not for the most part) left her vulnerable to bullies and people who wanted to take advantage of her. But despite that, she saw no reason to change. After school was over, she rushed up to Jimmy Jr. to see if he wanted to go walking on the beach with her.

"Wait, Jimmy Jr.!!" Tina shouted as she caught up to him and Zeke.

"Oh, hey Tina." He greeted her nonchalantly.

"Do you want to go walking on the beach later?" she asked him.

Jimmy Jr. glanced over at Zeke and groaned in confusion. He didn't want to do anything with Tina at the moment. Zeke, on the other hand, was envious. Boy, did he ever wish to be in Jimmy Jr.'s shoes whenever Tina was present. In fact, he wrestled him in front of Tina just to prevent any dates between his best friend and his crush from happening. Part of this defense mechanism was out of jealousy and selfishness because of Zeke's love for the girl. Another part of it was protection, protecting Tina from getting hurt by Jimmy Jr. due to his carelessness. Despite his unrequited crush on her, Zeke never wished to let Tina go through bad situations such as this. He loved her too much to do so.

"Tina," Jimmy Jr. finally said. "I'm going to be busy wiping tables in my dad's restaurant.

Tina frowned a little bit.

"That was your excuse the last 27 times!! I counted!" she shouted.

"Well Tina, I'm very busy this week! So I'm not going to the beach with you." Jimmy Jr. argued back, increasingly frustrated.

"Jimmy Jr. if you didn't want to go with me at all, you could of said so!"

"Fine, I'll say it. I don't want to go anywhere with you!!"

Tina was shocked. Anywhere?? There was a long silence between them and they had gathered so much attention that other students were standing and watching their feud. After processing what Jimmy Jr. said to her, Tina left without saying goodbye to either boys. She was angry. How dare he shoot her down like that? And for the 27th time?! Who did he think he was!! She caught up to Louise and Gene but was too angry to talk to them.

"Uh-oh, somebody's angry." Gene said nervously.

"Let me guess, somebody killed a horse and you're upset about it?" Louise questioned, only to receive a terrifying death glare from Tina in return.

"What's her deal?" Louise asked Gene after Tina walked away in fury.

The Belcher kids walked home from school, but Gene and Louise kept their distance from Tina. To them, it seemed like she was radiating a lot of dark energy to the point where one sentence could turn Tina into a sumo wrestler. She hadn't told her siblings what had happened between her and Jimmy Jr. In fact, Tina was so deep into her angry thoughts that she walked past their restaurant and into the street without realizing it.

"Tina!!" Louise shouted. "You're in the road, get out!!"

"Unless you want to be roadkill!!" Gene shouted as well.

But Tina didn't hear them. It wasn't until she heard the sound of a semi truck honking at her when she realized what her current situation was. By that time, Bob and Linda had come outside to see what all the ruckus was as Tina was frozen in place and screaming in terror, but it was too late. The semi truck hit Tina and she was knocked unconscious.

"TINA!!!" Bob screamed as her eyes closed.

Linda sobbed hysterically as Bob called 911 for an ambulance. Louise and Gene were shocked by what just happened. Their own sister getting ran over by a semi truck. Gene went to go cry with Linda while Louise went to the truck driver to give him a piece of her mind. She knocked on the door fuming with anger. The truck driver opened his door as Louise lunged at him and slapped him senselessly.

"You killed my sister!!" She screamed with each slap.

"Hey, it's not my fault she walked out in front of me!" he retaliated as the ambulance showed up.

Louise watched in despair as the paramedics took Tina away.

"I'll deal with you later." She growled at him as she gave him one last final slap before leaving.

Louise joined the rest of her family as they loaded into the car to follow the ambulance to the hospital.
