Prompt (62) [Scenario] – You're a celebrity who just broke up and I tweeted you a selfie with the caption "date me" as a joke but you thought I was serious?
Smirking he held up his cell and took a picture. "Date me." He quickly typed and pressed send.
"Okay." His eyes widen in surprise at such a quick reply.
"Desperate aren't we?" He smirked.
"I like what I see." Was the answer he got back.
"If you are honesty series then call me." He typed in his phone number.
The phone rang.
"Hello?" He spoke fully expecting it to be one of his friends.
"Like I said I like what I see." Her light voice spoke.
He smiled. "If you are honesty serious here honey then I would love to take you out." He rested against his chair. "Matter of fact you tell me where you want to meet you, and I will plan it from there."
"What's your name?" She asked instead. "After all I'm not about to tell a total stranger where they can honesty meet me now."
"Reggie Mantle." Reggie folded his arms across his chest. "So still interested?"
"Yes I am." She replied. "I'm currently out of the country on a project. But I should be back in the states in two months time."
"Okay." Reggie sighed. He was disappointed.
"I would like to get to know you better Reggie; so how about we talk to each other through phone; email; texting …. all the social media … just without the public in our conversions." She replied.
"I would love that." Reggie smiled. "That way I can have a better idea on how to plan a wonderful night for you my lady."
"Smooth." She laughed. "Look I have to get back on set; Reggie; but I'll text you in between scenes."
"Fine with me. If I don't text back don't worry; I'll just be asleep." Reggie nodded his head.
"I forgot it's night time state side right now." She sighed.
"Don't worry I'll be up for the next few hours. I have to get some work done before I can hit the hay." Reggie reassured her. "Get back on set I don't want to keep you too long."
"You aren't keeping me too long Reggie." Her soft voice sounded in his ear. "It was really nice hearing your voice … now I can hear your voice as I look at your picture."
Reggie grew warm. "Talk to you later."
"Talk to you later." She hung up.
Reggie sat straight in his desk chair as he grabbed his cell from his neck. "All right!" He whispered as he shot up his hands in delighted wonderment.
