It was late, about midnight. Lights were flashing in the club which was packed with friends and family, or friends that were like family. After all they did rent it out for the night. They had all gathered for a party dedicated to their most important member of their group. He had gotten a promotion at work and it was something truly worth celebrating.
The music was loud people were dancing and drinking.
Luna Lovegood was dancing with Neville. Ginny and Harry were also out on the dance floor. Ron was in a game of shots against Seamus, who was currently in the lead. Hermione was just laughing and joking along with drinking just like everybody else. And other people who they knew from Hogwarts.
But then someone got a brilliant idea. Red hair sneaked over to the 1/3 brunette of the golden trio. Grabbing her by the arm and dragged her to the stage. Although she tried to plant her feet in the ground it was useless as she was practically thrown onto the stage.
The red hair, who could be identified as none other than George Weasley, yelled ''SPEECH!'' Everyone fell quiet and looked to poor Hermione who now had a spot light shone on her. She put her had up in front of her eyes to block the light from her eyes. The light then dimmed down a bit but was still bright. Seeing that she wasn't going to speak, they all started chanting Speech, all but Ron who passed out on the floor.
She blanked at everyone and grabbed the microphone. She pointed at none other than Harry Potter. And so the very intoxicated Hermione Jean Granger started her 'speech'.
''Harry! You are my Best friend! Congratulations on getting that promotion!'' She stumbled a little.
''Don't be a Salad!'' She blinked again, clearing her eyes so she could see him better and smiling. ''Be the Best Damn Broccoli you can be!'' She yelled to him.
She then dropped the microphone and fell backwards, signaling that she too had just passed out.
Everyone cheered and went back to partying, the only sober people there, Author Weasley and Molly Weasley, walked over and picked her up off the floor, laughing at her speech.
