I am writing three stories at once so when I get writers block on one I can go to another. Anyway here is chapter one of my third story.)
'Uh. Hi? I'm Olivia Benson, I'm starting here today,' Olivia said to the receptionist at Saint Peter's Catholic School in Queens.
'Ah, yes; Miss Benson, correct? Mr. Stabler will show you to your classes and locker.'
The lady turned her head.
'Stabler? Stop bouncing that ball and show Miss Benson around.'
A tall muscular black haired boy came out through a door from behind the office and smiled at Olivia. Holding a basket ball in one hand, he offered his other hand to Olivia to shake.
'Hey, I'm Elliot Stabler,' he greeted, smiling at the beautiful brunette. Olivia shook his hand.
'Hi, Elliot. My name is Olivia Benson,' Olivia said, very aware of the fact he hadn't let go of her hand. Elliot tugged gently on said limb.
'Come on, I'll show you where all your classes and stuff are. What's your locker number?'
'Oh, uh-' Olivia pulls her hand out of his hand for a moment to shuffle through the stack of papers and books she had. She smiled triumphantly a moment later.
'Locker 237.'
Elliot smiled. 'That's this way, Liv. Your locker is next to mine. When I was in the office I peeped your time table and from what I remember of yours we have all our classes together.'
'Oh really?' Olivia asked surprised, 'I figured a few classes but not all classes. Wait. Did you just call me Liv-?'
'Pass me your timetable for a sec?' Elliot interrupted. Olivia passed her timetable over.
'Maths Advanced, Physical Science, Mr Meloni's English for the future, Phys Ed with Porter, Study Hall C with Cragen and lunch break A with Tucker,' Elliot read off, 'Yep. Exactly the same as mine.'
He wrinkled his brow as he paused in his talking, 'That's okay me calling you Liv isn't it? You can call me El.' Elliot looks at her with his piercing blue eyes.
'Oh, uh, yeah. I guess so, El. It's just that I have never had a nice nickname before,' Olivia answered with a murmur, quietly hanging her head.
Elliot looked at her but decided not to push his luck. They had been walking and talking so by this time they had reached the locker bay where Elliot's locker resided.
'Here we are, Liv. Now this is your locker. When you want to open it, click the numbers through then instead of pulling at it, kick it reasonably hard. Then it will open up properly. Pass me your code and I'll show you what I mean.'
Olivia silently passed him the slip of paper with the three numbers that made up the code. Elliot expertly flipped the lock to the right numbers then kicked the door. The locker door swung open easily. Elliot shut the door back up and gestured for Olivia to try. Olivia clicked the numbers quickly having already memorized them, and then delivered a round house kick to the locker! The door swung open quickly and hit Elliot. It surprised him more then it hurt him.
'Like that?' Olivia asked pulling the door back so she could see his face.
'Uh well you didn't have to do a round house kick to the locker!' Elliot answered somewhat surprised. A beautiful girl who could carry her own weight and look after herself. He knew half the boys would soon be after her. He also knew that because he was friends with her his sister's friend Kathy was going to hate the fact he now liked Olivia not her.
Olivia tapped her foot impatiently which brought Elliot back to reality.
'What? Sorry,' Elliot apologize, realizing she had asked him a question.
'At least the round house kick works, right?'
Elliot just sighed and shook his head. He helped her put her books in her locker then grabbed what she would need for English, a textbook, a note pad and a pencil, 'Yeah, I guess so. Anyways, here are your books.'
