I saw a scary sight today. . .
I saw a scary sight today.
It was incredible to see.
But it was not the man who spoke.
Though that, itself, was hard to believe.
He spoke against the US.
Of all of its misery.
Basing on an ancient text,
That belonged in a library.
"We're young and strong!
We need no guidance!
"Not like our forefathers,
This Bible is a hindrance!"
But, as he continued to say these things,
One sad truth remained,
That without God leading in our life,
A fools treasure is gained.
The people remained,
Listening to what he said.
No emotion, no fear,
Not even an once of dread.
I walked away.
I shuddered and sighed.
I also remembered,
By and by.
Not one stood.
Not one remained.
Each one that spoke,
Only a plaque stayed.
From the French Revolution, to the Russian Revolution.
There is one fixed notion.
All the "modern" thoughts that were brought out was driftwood,
Floating in the ocean.
