Yo, this is a oneshot DatJayDude (my student) write using her OC, Indiana, and my 100th OC, Wesley. I made up Wesley last night and she helped. Enjoy DatJayDude's very first oneshot!
OneShot (Indiana and Wesley)
One fateful Saturday morning Indiana Garmadon was working on her math homework. "What is eight times eight plus six?" She asks herself staring at her problems on the worksheet. As she thinks of an answer her brown hair gets in her face and she blows it away. "Eight times eight is sixty four, sixty four plus six is... seventy." She says while writing down the answer. "Now what is-" then she heard a knock on the door. "Come in." Indi smiles putting her green mechanical pencil down. "Uh hey Katniss Everdeen." A boy with neon green hair says walking in. It was Wesley, Indi's brother in law. "Hey Cinna!" Indi smiles getting up from her bedspread from which she was working on math from. You see it might seem strange they are calling each other people from the hunger games, but that is something they have in common so they came up with nick names for each other. As you can tell Indiana is Katniss and Wesley is Cinna. "Anything new at school?" Wesley asks sitting on Indiana's bed. "Yeah... some girl named Avery called me a..." Indi trailed off and sighed. "A weirdo that has no friends and a stupid little girl." Wesley looks shocked at the sweet girl, then notices her eyes are starting to turn royal blue, sadness. "Well guess what." Wesley says grinning. Indiana looks up at him and tries to not look sad. But it doesn't work since her eyes show her mood. "What, Cinna?" She asks looking at the boy with Neon green hair. "I got two tickets to see... THE NEW MY LITTLE PONY MOVIE!" He blurts out and raises his arms. Her eyes start turning teal from joy. "REALLY?!" She asks jumping up and down. "Really..." Wesley smiles. Then out of nowhere Indi's door busts open and Lloyd with Garmadon are there. "REALLY?! CAN WE COME?!" Lloyd and his father blurt out at the same time.
"Um... what would I get out of it." Wesley smirks. "Uhhhhhh I dunno." Lloyd shrugs. "How about being my friend for two weeks?" Wesley points out with a tint of hope. "Nah, it isn't worth it." Lloyd says shaking his head.
"Well then, Uh... sorry but I only got two tickets... and uh, you guys don't like me." Wesley points out. "I hate you even more now..." Lloyd says stomping off. Garmadon awkwardly scoots away following his son. "YOU ARE AMAZING WESLEY!" Indi says hugging him as tight as she can. "I love you big brother." She whispers. His face becomes bright red then sighs. "What is it..." Indiana asks pulling back then sits next to him and her eyes turn purple from curiosity. "Well... you are the only person that has ever said that to me." Wesley says looking down. "And I dunno how to react since my family hates me, people hate me, dude... even animals hate me. Then there is you..." Wesley says looking into the little girls purple eyes. "Then there is me?" She asks tilting her head from confusion and her side braid falls on her face. "You are the only person I need to love me since you always listen and always make me feel better. You are the best little sister in the world." Wesley says smiling. "BRUH! THAT WAS SO CHEESY AND SOUNDS LIKE YOU LURV HER LIKE A GIRLFRIEND!" A male voice says, Indi and Wesley turn to see lavender stalking them in the shadows and he steps out of the darkness. "Shut up Lavender." Wesley says rolling his eyes. Then out of no where lavender disappears into Indi's closet.
"So... about that movie..." Indiana says smirking. "Alrighty, let's go." Wesley says standing up. "Let us watch the new My little pony movie, Cinna!" Indi states opening her room door. "Indeed Katniss, we shall move forward." Wesley smiles walking out of the room. "Wesley... hate to break it to ya. But Cinna doesn't talk like that." Indiana points out looking into his hazel eyes. "Heh, I knew that..." Wesley says scratching the back of his neck. "Have you even seen the Hunger games? Or catching fire? Or mocking jay? Have you at least read the books..." Indiana asks raising an eyebrow. Nothing comes out of Wesley's mouth then suddenly, "Does Katniss almost kill Finnick?" Indi's eyes light up with glee as they head out to watch the movie.
About two hours later Indiana and Wesley walk out of the theater. "I loved it!" Indiana states eating a bite of popcorn. "Oh, I forgot something." She adds getting something out of her pocket. "What is it?" Asks Wesley. Once the little girl grabs the object in her pocket the pulls it out and it is a golden circular necklace, with a disappearing mocking jay symbol on it. Every time you turn the trinket to the left or the right it shows the exotic bird. "Here... it's a gift." She smiles handing him the necklace. When he holds the necklace he is in awe by the disappearing Mocking Jay that was in it. Then Wesley noticed the necklace was a locket, when he opened it the locket had three sections for which held pictures one was of Him and Indiana playing Minecraft together, then another of them hugging, the last was something Indi drew. A mocking jay. One that wasn't colored but looked almost exactly like the one from the cover of the first hunger games book. Then there was writing under it. It says in beautiful cursive, 'No matter what other people think, don't let them tear you down. Just remember I will always be there for you. That whenever you are sad I will always be your clown.
