It was a beautiful day in Care-A-Lot Birds were singing, flowers were blooming, it was a lovely day for a walk. One thing different was the fact that almost everyone had pets. For example, Funshine Bear had a Labrador puppy named Buddy, Amigo Bear owned a chihuahua named Tito, and Harmony Bear owned an orange cat named Ginger. But there was only one who did not have a pet, and that was Good Luck Bear. "Where did you get a dog like that?" he asked. "Over at the pet shop." replied Cheer Bear. So he decided to take a trip over to the pet shop.
Good Luck was looking for the right pet, and all of a sudden saw this beautiful collie dog. The pup barked, getting his attention. Good Luck walked over to the dog, who started wagging it's tail with joy. He then picked out the dog, who got very excited that it was getting a new owner. "I'm gonna name you Max." said Good Luck. He was looking for a collar for Max, and saw this bright red collar, with a matching leash.
A few moments later, Good Luck and Max were taking a walk across Care-A-Lot, with everyone noticing. "What a beautiful looking dog you have!" said Tenderheart. "What's his name?" "That's Max." replied Good Luck. Max barked with joy while wagging his tail. "That dog seems so smart!" said True Heart. "He sure is!" replied Tenderheart. "That's Good Luck's dog, Max." "Max is a very good dog!" said Amigo. Good Luck did some tricks with Max, such as having him balancing the treat.
