Authors Note- Welcome to my story! I am new to writing, well practically, and am not very good at it if I'm being honest with you, however, I'm gonna be trying my best and will pour a lot of hard work into this all I can ask is for your patience anyways enough with the boring talk lets get right into the fanfiction!

This will be rated T light violence and ill keep swearing to a minimum. Oh yeah, and we'll start out with a short first chapter don't worry the rest will be longer.

"Lily what are you saying?" James stated pacing, "Have you gone mad. I mean he's our son Lils we cant take this lightly"

Lily stood up and placed a reassuring hand on James' shoulder, "It has to be done"

James stopped and looked her, "Does it though?" he paused and gave Lily a piercing stare "Look me in the eye and tell me we have to."

Lily returned a cold gaze that chilled James to the bone before they softened and she replied with "We have to. James cant you see what will happen if we have Harry grow up here with us… like this."

"Well be fine lils-"

"We won't!" she paused and regained her posture,"Our little Jonny survived Voldemort, Voldemort! The public has gone insane they've started calling him they boy-who-lived he's only four and his life will be filled with horrors we won't even be able to comprehend… but If we keep Harry with us it'll be so much worse have you not seen the boy, he… strong... powerful even imagine what he could become but he'll always hide in the shadow of his brother if we let this continue the public won't know them as John and Harry they'll be known as the boy-who-lived and his insignificant little brother. I am not having my son go through that!"

James now glared at his wife, "And how will sending Harry away help any of this" he practically screamed.

"He could have a normal childhood, Johnny will have a life filled with training and maintaining his public image he cant have a normal childhood and ill be damned if I'll let Harry go through the same thing"

"Listen to yourself, you've gone mad! How can he have a happy normal childhood if he grows up away from his parents no child wants that"

Lily stubbornly replied "Its better than the alternative"

As the parents argued back and forth neither noticed as a little boy sat listening to their every word confusion and sadness. He turned to his older brother, "Joe! Why are mummy and da-dadee fighting"

John looked down at his little brother Harry with something akin to horror in his eyes and replied "I-I don't know" Not even bothering to correct his brothers slip up like he usually would.

Harry was an unusually bright child, bright enough to know his brother was upset so he held his hand in an attempt to make him feel better, but however clever he was he couldn't understand why this made his brother feel worse as tears sprung to his eyes the next moment.
