"YOU DON'T KNOW ME!" I yell, hissing dangerously at anyone who dared come closer to me. "HOW C-COULD POSSABLY KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH? HUH?" I shouted threatingly drawing the point of the knife on my throat in warning. Angry, bitter tears started to fall, but I quickly brushed them aside with my free hand.
"Mesuline, please don't do this," Sully, a big blue bear like monster with blue and purple fur, and horns, pleaded "This ISN'T a way to settle things. Please, all we want to do is help you."
I breathed heavily, my eyes shifting from one person to the next till I focused on Randall Boggs. The gecko chameleon like monster's emerald eyes were narrowed in either of disgust or betrayal, I couldn't really tell with all the adrenaline rush that was going on in my head.
A clawed foot squeaked on the tile floor. Whipping my head around, all the while trying to ignore the dizziness, I soon faced Vane, a cat girl monster whose mother happened to be the Loch Ness Monster. She looked nervous, but a side from the anxiety I felt from her I also picked up quite a bit of anger to my surprise.
I hissed softly through clenched teeth "Well, Vane, are you or are you not gonna say something to me?" I breathed sharply "About this whole thing right now?"
The young cat girl, just looked at me. Blinking slowly those eyes of hers, so full of care and laughter, but also toughness. I can give Vane, credit since she warded off those two no good yellow bellies, Cornelius and Jamie, a while back when they were DEFINATELY trying to damage the company's reputation. By opening their lying filthy mouths of theirs and spreading rumors about how unreliable Monsters Inc. was. Bunch of liars...
"Why?" I snapped back into reality by hearing Vanessie speak.
"WHY?" she questioned louder, her mouth clenched up into a fearsome snarl. Her fur tipped tail thrashing behind her like an angry snake. "WHY, MESULINE!" she yowled "Why MUST you do this?" Gesturing to the knife still in my hand, she boldly took a step forward only to recoil a bit as I pushed the knife closer to my throat. "Why...must..."she paused and bit her lip before continuing "Why do this to yourself, Mesuline? You're not the type of monster that would do such a rational thing such as this. Listen, I know that these last few months have been rough, for all of us, but THAT is not a way -a healthy way- to get rid of the pain-"
"I" I snapped recoiling slightly from the sharpness of bladed objet "I...YOU...YOU just don't get it! You never had to..." I bit my tongue -literally- on what I was about to say. I was about to retort that she never had to watch die before her eyes when I suddenly remembered that she HAD watched someone die -her own mother- before her very eyes. I sighed before adverting my gaze to the bare wall next to me. "You...just don't know the pain that I feel on the inside, Vane. I'm sure you DO understand, but I don't think to the certain extent to wear my pain resides." I replied softly, meeting her gaze briefly before I allowed my gaze to rest upon the stone cold metal blade that was up against my collarbone.
