After they got home from attempting to climb Mount Neverrest, Huey and Dewey immediately walked upstairs and into their room.
They needed to warm up after all of that.
The other kids would be at the fireplace to warm up, but they wanted to be alone as well, so they didn't go there. They swear they were freezing their asses off- Well, not literally of course. But they were very cold nonetheless.
The two changed into some comfy pajamas and Dewey turned the heater on.
Huey was sitting down on the couch, rubbing his arms with his hands. His attempts at warming himself up weren't working well, needless to say.
Dewey grabbed his blue blanket and sat down right next to Huey. He wrapped him with the blanket he grabbed from the bed.
"I'll be fine, you need it more." Huey rejected.
"But you're freezing, I can always get another blanket." Dewey insisted.
Huey looked at the bunk bed and back to Dewey. "Fine, Dewey."
"Unless..." Dewey began as he put his leg next to Huey and his hands on the couch, completely on top of him. "You want me to warm you up myself."
"Just get a blanket and sit next to me." Huey said, looking at him blankly.
Whatever he was thinking of doing, Huey wasn't allowing it.
Dewey groaned. "Alright." He said, going to the bed to grab another blanket.
This time it was one of Huey's red blankets. Dewey went back to the couch and sat down next to him. He wrapped himself up in the blanket.
Huey smiled and kissed him on the cheek. Dewey looked at him, put his hand on his face, and kissed him.
After a minute, they broke it off. "What do you want to do for the rest of the day, Hue?" Dewey asked.
"Hmm, I don't know." Huey answered and shrugged. "Whatever you want I suppose."
Dewey chuckled, grabbing a remote and turns the TV on. It was on a show they liked, so he didn't have to go through the channels to see what to put on.
Dewey put his hand in Huey's as he leaned onto him.
They started to feel a lot warmer now that they had blankets on them and the heater being on.
The door creaked a bit, which made Huey and Dewey look in that direction.
Turned out it was just Louie. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt a couple of lovers having some alone time." Louie teased.
Huey just rolled his eyes. He was tired of him calling them that when someone could be right there hearing that.
"Wanna join us, Lou?" Dewey offered.
Huey looked at him, annoyed.
"What? You saying he can't join us?"
"No, I wanted to be alone with you." Huey answered. "But he can watch some TV with us."
Louie smirked, sitting down on the bed.
"I'll leave the couch to you two."
Huey let go of Dewey's hand and put his arm around him. He kept Dewey close to him as they watched TV.
They spent the rest of the day in their room, aside from dinner that is.
