I have writer's block. Seriously. So I decided to write this to get over it.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own KHR. If I did, there would be more of Gokudera looking serious, and not so much of him in Tenth-worshipping mode.

It was snowing.

Sitting with her knees to her chest, shivering in the cold, was a girl. She leaned against the entrance of the fire escape.

He won't come, a little voice at the back of her mind hissed.

She looked at the box on the ground next to her, a thin black parcel wrapped in violet ribbon. A present for him.

Maybe he really wasn't going to come. Boss had told her that this was his favourite spot, on the school roof, yet he had not turned up after two hours.

Making up her mind, she left the roof. Wandering down the hallways of Namimori Middle, she realized something terrible.

She was lost. Lost, in this vast school.

She walked down yet another corridor, and stopped at a black door. Beyond it, she could hear the sound of pen scratching on paper.

There was someone inside. Good. She could ask for directions.

She pushed the heavy black door open, ignoring the sign on the door.

Reception Room.

Hibari looked up from his paperwork, at the girl who had dared to barge into the room.

"Chrome Dokuro. What are you doing here?"

Chrome stared at the room's sole occupant.

Hibari Kyouya.

"Ano….Hibari-san…"

She was torn between asking Hibari for directions, which he probably wouldn't give, instead chasing her out. Or giving him the box, then running out, in which case she definitely wouldn't have directions.

Just give it to him, my cute little Chrome.

But Mukuro-sama…

I know the way out. Even if he chases you away, we can still leave this place.

H-Hai…but…Mukuro-sama…you…

Kufufu, afraid that I'll be angry with you for showing kindness to him? It's not like he's my enemy, you know.

I approve, Chrome.

It was the first time he had ever called her just simply 'Chrome', without any nicknames. He was serious.

Hibari glared at Chrome.

"If you don't have an adequate reason for disturbing my peace, then get out, herbivore."

Making up her mind, Chrome dashed to his desk, put down the thin box, and ran out.

A minute later, a khaki blur, clear against the blanket of white snow, could be seen running away from the school.

Hibari turned from the window to look at the box.

Merry Christmas, Hibari-san.

Lying beneath the now-torn paper, was a black scarf. On top of it was a smaller, violet scarf, probably meant for Hibird.

A present for him.

A/N: How was it? This is my first ever romance-y story. Please tell me how to improve!

Also, I'll be going on a two-week break, so no updates!
