I wrote this four or five years ago and just never got to typing it up… :p

Summery: Hiei contemplates his sister, unaware that she's contemplating him too.
When she saw him in that bastard Turukana's mansion she nearly recognized him, but she couldn't remember who he was. He'd half hoped she'd remember him but his rational side knew it was for the best.
She was always in his thoughts even when he tried not to think of her. He could never forget her face. He'd lay awake at night thinking of her.
Every night she was there, in his dreams, always.
He'd spared nothing to find her. That was the reason he'd gotten his third eye, the jagan, but even after all that he only watched her from afar.
When he was alone she would go and comfort him. She loved him even though he would never answer her quarries about her brother, she knew he was hiding something. Instead she would pretend he was her brother. He always protected her and he was so kind.
He had to be near her, to know that she was alright, to know that she was happy.
Every time he saw his reflection in a mirror or just a puddle or stream he saw her face. When he looked past his fire demon heritage to the Koorime inside him, he saw her.
Her eyes, so much like his own, he just couldn't stop thinking about her… Yukina, the sister that for her own happiness he could never claim.
