I took deep, cleansing breaths, even though I didn't need to. The music had started flowing, and I could see Charlie coming down the stairs. He was clutching Bella's visibly trembling arm, the only thing I could see of her. It was our wedding day, and I felt more nervous than I ever had.

The music swelled, and I could finally see her. Bella. My love. In a beautiful, flowing dress. Her brown hair was in an intricate design, her chocolate eyes gleaming. Her face was glowing, and I could hear her pulse quicken as she saw everyone staring. A collective sigh issued from everyone, but it would never compare to the feeling fluttering in my heart.

My eyes whisked over the crowd, finding my family without trouble. Alice looked smug, her pixie features outlined in the fairy-like dress she wore. Jasper sat next to her, looking slightly pressed. So many emotions wafted through this room, and I didn't need to read his mind to know he was quite overcome. Emmett was busily staring at Rose's curvy outline while she craned her neck to get a better view of Bella. Esme looked so lovely in her simply dress, her eyes brimming with tears. Carlisle looked proud, and very dashing in his pure white tux. And soon, Bella would be sitting with us. In our family. The Cullens.

My eyes flicked back to Bella, who was gliding down the isle with her father. His tired eyes were happy and sad together, and I felt a sudden rush of affection for the man.

Bella's eyes were only for me. Mine were only for her. She was getting nearer and nearer, almost to the altar. I couldn't let my anxiousness show, I had to keep calm and steady. If I didn't Bella would likely trip and fall, just like she always did.

And then she was there, in my arms. And she looked so divine, and she was all I could ever ask for. Everything in my life was perfect, especially her. I forgot the rest of the world; my mind was compltely consumed by her lips, her smile, her dress. I squeezed her hands, having to refrain from kissing her before the vows had even begun.

"Do you, Isabella Swan, take Edward Cullen..."

I caught snapshot after snapshot of this moment in my mind, so I would never forget it. Ever.

"And do you, Edward Cullen, take Isabelle Swan..."

I do! I do! Forever and always. Till death... Or shall I say, rebirth, do us part.

"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife."

And we kissed. Fireworks exploded in my head, and I suddenly forgot all boundaries. This day was for us, and I was strong enough to resist the delicious scent of her blood. I was strong enough... Strong enough...
