The inspiration for this fic came from reichenbach feelings. The bit where Sherlock gets arrested and the Inspector comes in and Sally goes all awkward looking at John and stuff. This is a sort of character study. I don't own the characters or the BBC sadly :(

All through her life, Sally tried her best to be right. Where ever she was, she had to be right. Whether it was in class, at home, at clubs, with her friends, she had to be right. That belief followed her all her life. She was right in exams, tests, courses. She tried her best to be right as a police officer as well...well, tried. Soemtimes it was easy to drop the ball on being correct. Like the time that everyone doesn't talk about anymore. The time that has been said that if you speak of it, the wrath of the goverment will come down on you. The day the genius died, as did the heart of his blogger.

Sally never really had anything against Sherlock. She may have called him a freak (what was she supposed to think? who else has eyeballs in their microwave?). She and half of the Scotland yard thought they were right about him. Especially when Richard Brook appeared to be real. It only confirmed it for her when that little girl screamed when she saw him, in fact Sally was the first one to point the finger, with Anderson backing her up of course. She was so smug when they went to his flat and arrested him. She lost her smugness a little at the sight of John's face and words when he fought so hard for Sherlock. To think that somebody could care that much for a freak confused her.

She almost laughed when John punched their Super intendant.

She wasn't surprised in the slightest when Sherlock 'kidnapped' John and held him hostage and ran away. In fact she was expecting it. What she wasn't expecting was for the supposedly innocent Richard Brook to shoot himself in the head (they went to the roof to see if Sherlock left anything there. Personally she thought Lestrade was hoping for something). She didn't even expect to see Sherlock's blood painting the pavement. To see the tabloids slander a person who she knew was a genius, if a little weird. They proved he was innocent in the end. John had to be restrained one time because someone was still stupid enough to believe in Richard Brook. No, Moriarty. John yelled "It was just like a bloody film or fairytale! The evil villan makes the good guy seem bad so people turn against him. If you're all too stupid to see through that, then what good are you?" Sally thought those would be the words Sherlock would say.

Still, Sally was still right that day. Right about the one thing in her life that she never thought she'd regret to say. The one thing that she was 100% right about. One day, they'll be standing over a body and Sherlock Holmes would have put it there. She was right.

He did.

What did you think about that then? I know the people were a little out of character but I can't help it xD I thought I'd publish this one. I do have others, one of them is even called "The adventures of Sherlock holmes and Hogson" Yes, it is a 'John is a hedgehog' one. I saw someone elses hedgehog story though and I was worried it might be a bit over done so I might leave it in my documents. I need to make a poll about it ¬¬ anyways, hope you enjoyed this piece of angst :D reviews are love :3
