A/N: A rory/11/amy fanfic in progress.

There was a time

I used to look into my father's eyes.

In a happy home

I was a king, I had a golden throne.

Those days are gone,

Now the memory's on the wall.

I hear the songs

From the places where I was born.

Chapter One: Not my Time

I was there the day he said goodbye. The day the Doctor died. The day he took my heart and fled this life.

*Flashback*

Sirens are blaring all around me, but I can't hear them. Someone grabs my shoulder to pull me away from him, but I slap the hand, only to see Rory's face twisted into a betrayed expression. "You need help Amy. This is a fucking problem and you need to get fixed!" The tears in my eyes ceased long enough for me to choke out a quiet "Fuck off Rory. You don't care. You never did. And now he's gone and done THIS." I motioned to the scene behind me, where the Doctor's-..Say it Amy. Body. Where the Doctor's body lay on the concrete below. "Fine then, Amy. I always knew if you had to choose, it'd be him. The Inhuman, time-travelling FREAK!" I sat, unmoving, as I watched Rory leave the house and drive off.

*End Flashback*

Now I'm here. In an alley, staring down the barrel of a Smith & Wesson. "Why?" that was it, the only thing I had to say. "Because, this is payback. You took my Doctor from me. Now I'll take my compensation." The woman in front of me is Martha. The Doctor's old companion. "Wait. Please." When had I become so afraid to die? When did I lose my bravery? "It's not my time yet! please you can't do this I beg of yo-" The vision in my left eye blurred to black, and i felt the ground rush up to meet me. She shot me. She actually shot me. "I'm.. So..Sorry.." I closed my eye, and faded to black.

I woke up in a strange gold room. My eye closely examined the bed I was laying on, and I noticed that it was made of silk. And there were two initials on the edge. R.W.

"Hello, love." I glanced to my left and saw my boys standing hand in hand. "I'm so sorry I wasn't here sooner. i missed you so mu-" I suddenly felt blood rush down the left half of my face, and reached up to touch my eye. Rory turned away and puked into the bin next to him and the Doctor just wiped a tear from his eye. "You were shot? Who?" I shook my head. It didn't matter who shot me. "It's not important.." He smiled. "The impossible girl, my Amelia." I took my hand from my eye and saw a crystallized green orb in my palm. I knew it was bad but seeing it.. I couldn't suppress a scream, nor could I keep from fainting.
