Lavender Brown sat on a staircase crying. Where had her girlfriend gone? She was incomplete without her. She didn't even care that the staircase was constantly flipping around, or that she was kicked by hundreds of students trying to get through. Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She figured it was just another careless classmate that didn't give a womping willow about her feelings, but when she looked up her tears instantly stopped and then turned to tears of happiness.
"Where were you?" Lavender asks. "I was so scared!"
"I was in the Hufflepuff common room. I had a really bad cold."
"Susan, a cold kept you in your common room for a week?"
"Yes."
"Well, Bones, I'm so happy you're back!"
"I'm glad to be back! Every second away from you was complete hell." The Hufflepuff gives the Gryffindor a kiss.
"I missed that too."
