The Doctor paced the TARDIS, completely alone. He had his screwdriver in his hand, twisting it and turning it. He was getting more and more frustrated. Just as he came to the wall, he smashed his fists against it, receiving an ungrateful buzz from her.
"Shut up!" He snapped. "Sorry…" he muttered sheepishly shortly afterwards. "I should have just said it, goddamit! It's easy! I've said it plenty of times before! I had two minutes; I can't believe I didn't say it! It's simple isn't it?" He looked up to the TARDIS ceiling.
"zzzZZzzzz" buzzed the TARDIS.
"I. Love. You." The tears swelling in his eyes fell across his cheeks. "Rose Tyler…" he collapsed on the floor, sobbing. No amount of buzzing from the TARDIS would coax him back to normality.
