A/N! Aren't you excited…because I am! Well this story happens after the 2 years Naruto and Jiraiya go on their 2 year adventure that takes them to places that us readers could care less about, which is probably why they started a new season instead of continuing through all of their adventures. This is not meant to branch off of the anime, the only reason this takes place after the 2 years is so that I can add a bunch of cool new jutsus and nobody will flame me for it! Well here I go hope you like the first chapter that could probably be a story in itself if people don't like it. R & R and then I will continue writing I want to hear you input!

Things with a () next to them are things you may not remember so I will put them at the end of the Fic with their explanations.

Naruto wakes up, and gets dressed quickly 'My first day back and I'm already late…great job me…'. Once he finishes getting ready he runs off to the training grounds were all of his friends are supposed to meet him for a special welcome back surprise party which Kiba took pride in spoiling.

He finally arrived in front of the training ground and right before he got in view he heard " This is going to be great, Hahaha!" and "Genin appreciation day! Great idea Kiba!" 'Genin appreciation day, eh, well then lets have some fun shall we?'

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Whispered Naruto quietly as he made 5 clones all equipped with a flash note().

Naruto then walks out of his hiding place in to the clearing and yells out "Hi Guys!"

"Hey its Naruto!" Yells Kiba and everyone quickly hides all of their trap making tools behind their backs.

"Happy Genin Day Naruto!" Everyone yells in unison.

"Hi Guys!" Say the voices of three Narutos behind the pack of chuunin. Everyone turns around looking kind of confused as every Naruto pulls out a kunai and stabs itself in the heart.

"What the…" Says Chouji, looking very confused, as suddenly all of the Narutos explode creating a bright white light blinding all of the chuunin as a thin metal wire ties them to the tree stump.

The fifth bunshin lands in front of them and gives them thumbs up "Happy Genin Day guys!"

Suddenly a figure lands behind Naruto with a kunai pointed at his back "Happy Genin Day Naruto" Says the Jounin.

Meanwhile the tied up Chuunin are going ballistic "YAY NEJI!"

Then Naruto suddenly falls back onto the kunai and everyone is silent "Yay Neji" are the bunshins last words before it explodes.

"Kuso" Exclaims Neji as he is also tied onto the tree stump.

"Any more surprises guys?" says the real Naruto as he comes out of his hiding place and cuts his friends out of the wires.

Kakashi comes out of nowhere like he usually does and says with a lazy voice "Hey guys guess what?"

"What?" they all say.

"The Hokage has a mission for you all!" Exclaims Kakashi with a little too much excitement.

All three teams walk up to the Hokage's door and Naruto lightly taps it.

"Sit!" says the old lady as she opens the door.

"Here is your mission," she says as she hands them a slip of paper.

All of their eyes widen in horror as they see what is written on the page.

Flash note- the thing that Shikamaru uses in the battle against the chick with the flute to make the summonings shadows bigger.
